New Email Accounts for Whiteley Electronics - Subcontract
Email accounts have now changed at Whiteley Electronics (South) Ltd from dial.pipex.com to whiteley-subcontract.com.
The addresses for Mark Major & Tim Bowen have also changed from dial.pipex.com to gemmalighting.com in light of the new company that has recently joined the Gemma Group - Gemma Lighting And Displays Limited [GLAD].
The old "@dial.pipex.com" addresses will continue to function until the end of April 2007.

Whiteley Continue Offering Savings on Customers Requirements
Whiteley Electronics Ltd use the opportunities for obtaining PCB's, Transformers and bespoke items from off-shore sources to cut costs for their existing and future customer base by scheduling contracts annually and therefore taking advantage of lower material prices. Whiteley then have the capability to pull material forwards and meet any unexpected increases in quantities that our customers may have. Whiteley Help Customers Convert to RoHS Compliance
Whiteley Electronics Ltd have successfully helped four customers convert their BOM's to lead-free in-light of the new RoHS Compliant legislation of July 2006. Using our purchasing expertise and our understanding of the customers requirements we have re-sourced components and suggested alternatives ensuring that our customers future orders do not fall foul of the new RoHS Legislation. The lead-free BOM's combined with our proven lead-free manufacturing processes make sure our customer's conversion to RoHS compliancy is as smooth as possible. |

Whiteley Electronics Announce Lead-Free Production Service
Whiteley Electronics Ltd are proud to announce that full lead-free [RoHS Compliant] production is now available in line with the legislation implementation date of 01/07/06. The purchase of a Blundell System 300 completes our substantial equipment list and allows us to run a dual-process from one end of the production procedure to the other. We have the capability to run lead based and lead-free assemblies, side by side if necessary, using our double compliment of Screen Printers, SMT Pick & Place Machines, Reflow Ovens and, now, Wave Solder Machines. We have also begun a production control method to separate the lead based and lead-free production methods we undertake. |

Whiteley Electronics Wins Automotive Contract
Whiteley Electronics Ltd now manufactures airflow sensor assemblies on ceramic substrates. This large annual contract was won after a series of trials and consultation meetings on design changes and value engineered production methods. We now work closely with the customer on all similar up and coming work and suggest alternatives methods of production to cut costs and save money.

Whiteley Electronics has expanded its manufacturing facilities into China after entering a joint venture with Xi'an Xixin. Whiteley Electronics (south) Ltd can now offer customers this option on large orders whilst guaranteeing total project management, quality and service from Portsmouth, England. |
